The Spa at MPS is a luxury medical spa within Mays Plastic Surgery, offering advanced aesthetic treatments and personalized skincare in a physician-led environment. We are looking for an experienced, personable, and motivated Licensed Aesthetician to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about skincare, knowledgeable in advanced aesthetic treatments, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, builds strong relationships with patients, and understands the importance of both treatment results and patient satisfaction.
This person should be motivated to grow their schedule, educate patients on treatment options and physician-directed skincare, and work collaboratively with the team to support the continued growth of The Spa at MPS.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments, including facials, laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, SkinWave, DiamondGlow, body contouring, and other services as trained and within scope of licensure.
- Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and physician-directed skincare products.
- Recommend appropriate products, services, and treatment enhancements based on each patient’s individual needs and goals.
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships while encouraging retention and repeat visits.
- Take ownership of your schedule and work to grow and maintain a strong book of business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote services and grow your patient base.
- Provide a high level of customer service and contribute to the overall patient experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and sanitation.
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and training opportunities.
- Work cohesively with the spa and clinical teams to support the goals and standards of The Spa at MPS.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Current Kentucky Aesthetician License.
- Current BLS certification.
- 3–5 years of experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, or dermatology setting.
- Experience with advanced aesthetic treatments and professional skincare products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to educate patients and confidently recommend appropriate treatments and products.
- Professional, personable, and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and interested in growing their schedule and patient relationships.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
